Job summary

Erickson Carpentry Contracting in Roseville, CA is seeking a dependable helper to support skilled carpenters on diverse job sites. You will perform tasks that require less skill while learning foundations of framing, safety, and material handling.

Responsibilities include keeping areas clean, assisting with layouts, and passing tools; you will cut, measure, and install basic fasteners under supervision. The role requires travel to sites and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Framing or woodworking experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to travel to various job sites.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must provide original, valid, and unexpired document(s) that satisfy the Form I-9 employment.

Responsibilities

• Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Assist Carpenter in layouts.
• Install fasteners/hardware.
• Place and nail blocking and bracing.
• Assist in aligning and squaring walls.
• Cut miscellaneous material to size as directed by carpenter.
• Stacking trusses, install fascia and roof sheathing.
• Other duties as necessary.
