Job summary

O2 Employment Services is partnering with a local construction company in Burney, CA to hire a Carpentry Assistant for a part-time, hands-on role. You will support residential and commercial carpentry projects, measure and prepare materials, and help maintain a safe, organized job site.

Ideal candidates have some carpentry experience, are reliable, physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and can work well with a small team.

Qualifications

Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred.
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation to and from Burney job sites.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist with residential and commercial carpentry projects.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed.
Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
Maintain a clean and safe job site.
Assist with framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, and general construction tasks.
Safely operate hand and power tools.
Follow directions from the lead carpenter and collaborate with the crew.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
