Responsibilities
- Lead the carpenters and schedule their day to day tasks. Provide guidance to carpenters on proper technique and standards of work.
- Ensure tasks and calls are completed to a high standard.
- Plan and estimate materials lists for projects and shop stock.
- Maintain all public areas and guestrooms on an on-going basis (corner guards, locks, windows, doors, furniture.)
- Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
- Clean all work areas after completing job.
- Complete Work requests in Synergy daily.
- Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels' rules and regulations.
- Answer all guest and associate related Synergy requests
- Assist with Capital improvement projects.
- Property improvement projects
Qualifications
- Monday - Friday 1st shift schedule with rotating weekends.
- Extensive building / carpentry background from frame to finish.
- Basic computer knowledge to include office products
- Experience leading a 3-5 person team
