Facilities Engineering maintains 6 million square feet of facilities dedicated to clinical and academic functions. The department comprises 150 professionals, including engineers, MEP mechanics, building finishes, and support staff. Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose: Provides the necessary craft for maintaining the hospital and off-site buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Sketches, builds, and installs all facility finishes using various materials.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates work with other trades as necessary.
• Assists with maintaining inventory levels of essential materials and hardware.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED, with experience in Carpentry or General Building Maintenance (2-5 years preferred)

Experience: 2-5 years in relevant field

Supervisor Experience: Not required

Preferred Requirements

Education: Associate degree or Trade School certification in Carpentry/General Building Maintenance
