Job summary

NuFace Home Improvements is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Service Technician in Berlin, CT to perform high-quality carpentry, remodeling, and service/repair tasks while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires detail-orientation, self-motivation, and experience in general construction and home improvement services.

The ideal candidate will handle framing, trim, cabinetry, drywall, and finish work, respond to service calls, read blueprints, and ensure work meets codes and safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry or general construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and materials.
• Ability to perform service and repair work independently.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work including framing, trim, cabinetry, drywall, and finish work.
• Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install building materials with precision.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and building codes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, team members, and management.
• Load/unload tools and materials and maintain company equipment.
