Job Type: Full-Time/Seasonal/Temorary/Part-Time

Pay: DOE

Overview:

Munson’s Carpentry & Construction LLC is seeking skilled, reliable Carpenters to join our growing team. We specialize in high end framing, siding, window and door installations, and residential remodeling. While this position focuses on structural carpentry, additional experience in finish work or remodeling is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform rough framing for residential and commercial projects
  • Install exterior siding, windows, and doors with precision and efficiency
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications
  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials to required specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work enviroment
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively with other trades and team members on-site
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in framing or general carpentry is preferred
  • Vaild driver’s license and reliable transportstion to job sites
  • Basic set of hand and power tools (see list)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout workday (8+ hrs daily)
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8+hrs daily)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working at heights, including on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs
  • Must be able to work in all seasons and weather conditions (heat, wind, snow)
  • MUST follow ALL safety guidelines, attend safety meetings, and wear PPE at all times. "Safety is our top priority. If you spot a safety issue, speak up immediately. We encourage everyone to voice concerns without hesitation, as your vigilance ensures a secure environment for all."
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Team player with clear communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Takes direction well, and can identify and communicate on-site issues to leads
  • Adaptable to changing tasks and priorities, and willingness to learn new skills

Preferred (but not required) Skills:

  • Finish carpentry (trim, baseboards, cabinetry, etc.)
  • Experience in residential remodeling (demo, framing modifications, layout)
  • Ability to lead a small crew or take initiative on tasks
