Job summary

Finnmark Property Services is seeking a safety-oriented carpenter/restoration worker to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. You will build, install, and repair structural components, using hand and power tools, while coordinating with subcontractors to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by company insurance.
• Previous carpenter experience is required.
• Attentive, punctual with reliable work hours.
• Ability to receive and follow instructions accurately.
• Positive communication with team members is essential.
• Capable of safely operating hand and power tools and construction equipment.
• Able to read and follow labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Extreme attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial restoration tasks including framing, drywall, trim, and finish carpentry.
• Demolish, remove debris, and prep job sites for restoration work.
• Safely operate tools, manage materials, and follow PPE and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, mitigation teams, subcontractors, and trades to meet deadlines.
• Provide professional customer interactions while delivering quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial restoration repairs, including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, flooring, cabinets, doors, trim, and general rebuilding due to water, fire, and other damage.
• Complete demolition, debris removal, and job site preparation while maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, manage materials and equipment, and follow company safety policies, PPE requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, mitigation teams, subcontractors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Provide professional customer interactions while delivering quality workmanship that meets company standards, building codes, and project specifications.
