Compleat Restorations in York is seeking a Carpenter to perform skilled carpentry and restoration work on residential and commercial projects. Based at our York facility, you will collaborate with the Construction Coordinator to deliver top craftsmanship, efficiency, and attention to detail on fire, water, mold, or other loss scenarios.
The role requires 2+ years of carpentry/restoration, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for emergency

The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry and repair work on residential and commercial restoration projects. This position is based out of our York facility and serves the surrounding areas. Working closely with the Construction Coordinator, the Carpenter completes restoration tasks with a high standard of craftsmanship, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Typical responsibilities include drywall installation and finishing, trim and finish carpentry, painting, and other carpentry-related repairs required to restore properties impacted by fire, water, mold, or other losses.

Carpenters work on active residential and commercial construction job sites and are subject to the typical hazards associated with construction environments. The employee will work in a variety of conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, and may be exposed to hot, cold, wet, dusty, dirty, or noisy conditions.
A Carpenter must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces for extended periods. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, respirators, and high-visibility clothing, may be required depending on the task and job site conditions; PPE is provided by the company.
