Job summary
Champion Windows & Home Exteriors is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician to accurately measure customer homes for installations and to complete service jobs, ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves measuring on-site, performing repairs to windows, siding, and sunrooms, and coordinating service orders.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in home improvement/construction, strong communication and math skills, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school a plus.
- 3–5 years in home improvement/construction with carpentry, roofing, and window installation.
- Experience using a brake and other hand tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Math skills for measuring with tape measures and angles.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Measures for products at customer homes.
- Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms.
- Order and tracks repair / installation services.
- Assist Management reporting and communication, as requested.
- Interacts with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs.
- Safely performs all aspects of job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws.
