Robison Construction, Inc. is currently hiring a Carpenter/Laborer for a year-round position. The Carpenter/Laborer will perform a wide range of general carpentry tasks, working closely with Project Managers, the Production Manager, and subcontractors to ensure the successful completion of projects that meet the highest standards and satisfy our customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• General Carpentry: Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including basic framing, roofing and siding repairs, construction repairs, and other duties as assigned.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools efficiently and safely.
• Safety Adherence: Follow jobsite safety guidelines at all times, including the safe transport of equipment and materials to job sites.
• Equipment Setup: Safely set up ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment as needed for the job.
• Tool Maintenance: Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored.
• Worksite Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment on all job sites.
• Progress Reporting: Update the supervisor regularly on job progress and report any issues or challenges related to the job.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Attendance: Good attendance and punctuality are required.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Preferred Skills: Flat roofing experience is preferred but not required.
• Language and Math Skills: Ability to read and write legibly in English and possess a good understanding of basic math.
• Licensing: Must have a valid driver's license.
• Instruction Compliance: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Teamwork: Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Weather Conditions: Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
