Job summary

Messer Construction Co. is looking for skilled construction professionals to join our Knoxville area team. You will perform door and window installations, layout stairs, read blueprints, and place concrete footings and decks, contributing to complex commercial projects.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of construction experience, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and willingness to work within a 50‑mile radius in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install doors and door hardware.
• Install windows.
• Layout stairs and common rafters.
• Read blueprints and perform layout.
• Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls and columns.
• Pump, place and finish concrete.
• Placement of concrete, slab on grade and elevated decks.
• Crane signals and rigging.
• Effectively communicate and understand both verbal and written instructions.
• Organize, sequence and perform assigned tasks within schedule.

What You Will Do:
