CARPENTER I - HONOKAA/ HAMAKUA, HAWAII ISLAND

Recruitment Number 25-0411. This vacancy is with the Department of Accounting & General Services.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a wide variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, alteration, and repair of structural woodwork and wooden articles.
• Supervise one or more carpenter helpers or other assistants as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Policy: The State of Hawaii requires all applicants to be citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
• Experience & Training: Four (4) years of experience in performing a variety of rough and finished carpentry work or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
