Qualifications

• Must possess basic tools and have the skills to use them effectively.
• Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and OSHA regulations is preferred.
• Must possess customer service and communication skills.
• Available to work evenings and weekends if needed.
• Ability to use a computer for online training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction of the interior and exterior of buildings, including apartments, mechanical rooms, and common areas.
• Constructs wooden structures by observing and marking lines on materials for cutting and assembly; shaping materials to measurement; assembling and fastening materials using hand and power tools.
• Responsible for set-up and completion activities including material handling and job site clean-up.
• Assisting and learning in areas: general framing, finish work, building and repairing stair systems, concrete formwork & molds, install windows/doors/siding/cabinets, and mill work.
• Exhibit a positive disposition while interacting with residents, colleagues, and vendors.
