Job summary

Holder Construction is hiring a Carpenter for our Conesville, OH project. This full-time role involves building safety features, general carpentry, and site duties on a hands-on Operations team.

Proficiency in reading drawings and OSHA 10-based safety practices is required, with physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing. Experience with concrete is a huge plus, and the company offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for advancement within a nationwide

Qualifications

• Possess 5 years of construction experience.
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Training on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, MEWP).
• Must be agile/mobile and stand/walk for long periods; able to lift 50–100 lbs.

• Construct and maintain safety handrails, hole protection, stairs, ladders, and temporary weather enclosures.
• Perform sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties as directed.
• Experience with concrete is a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our Operations team on our project in Conesville, OH. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructing andmaintainingsafety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weatherenclosuresand protection.
• Also does sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Experience working with Concrete is a HUGE plus.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Possess5 yearsof construction experience .
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Have training on construction safety protocols (i.e.OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom andscissor).
• This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred:

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
