Job summary

M.C. Dean in Omaha is seeking a skilled carpenter to support design, construction, and maintenance of secure, mission-critical facilities.

The role involves framing, finishing, painting, and installing ceilings and carpet tiles, with a focus on safety and quality. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of carpentry experience and be able to meet government security requirements, including Top Secret/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and follow safety procedures.
• U.S. Citizenship eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry duties including design, construction, installation and repair of wooden fixtures and structures.
• Framing and finish work; painting and staining; installing ceiling tile grids; installing carpet tiles.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and conduct jobsite troubleshooting; perform layout and carpentry production.
