Qualifications

• 1-3 years verifiable experience preferred
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Good manual dexterity; able to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units
• May assist with installation of awnings or metal decking for concrete slabs
• Uses carpenter’s belt with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
