Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is hiring a Carpenter for the GDOT SR 316 Bundle 2 project in Athens-Clarke, GA. The Carpenter constructs, installs, and finishes wooden structures using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil work sites.

Candidates should have 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience, be able to climb and balance on scaffolds, lift up to 50 lbs, pass drug screening, and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures per prefabricated units.
• Assists with installation of awnings and metal decking as needed.
• Uses carpenter's belt with hand tools and power tools.
