Job summary

Jobot in Venice, FL is seeking a versatile Carpenter to support healthcare, senior-living and commercial projects. This on-site, permanent role involves framing, drywall, painting, finish work, and cabinet installation to deliver high-quality finish on time.

You will follow supervisor directions, maintain safety standards, manage time and materials, and communicate effectively with the team. Required: four-year carpentry program or four years of carpentry experience, and the tools to complete

Qualifications

Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials common to the carpentry trade.
Knowledge of cabinet installation.
Skilled in the construction, repair, restoration and installation of wood or related materials.
Ability to manage allotted project time and material usage of projects assigned.
Ability to effectively communicate.

Responsibilities

Assisting supervisor with modifications and repairs of project renovations; including building and installation of cabinets, partitions, and shelves; acoustical ceilings, doors, locks and related items.
Metal framing & drywall finishing with painting of smaller projects.
Installation of handrails, crash rails and wall protection, and setting up dust barriers.
You will be responsible for helping to keep the project in safe condition adhering to safety standards and use of equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
