A Team Home Services in Hutto, TX is looking for a motivated Carpenter, Handyman & Remodeling Apprentice to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with basic experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, or residential home repairs who wants to build a long‑term career in the skilled trades.

Working alongside experienced technicians and installers, you'll receive hands‑on training while assisting with a wide variety of residential projects throughout the Greater Austin

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in occupied residential homes professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and general renovations.
• Support demolition, material preparation, installation, and finish work.
• Assist with carpentry projects including framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, shelving, and wood repairs.
• Help install vanities, cabinets, flooring, fixtures, hardware, appliances, and other residential components.
• Perform basic drywall repairs, patching, tape and float, painting, and finish work.
• Assist with general home maintenance and repair projects.
• Learn basic plumbing fixture installation and minor electrical fixture replacement under supervision.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize tools and materials.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in occupied residential homes professionally
• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds

Preferred

• 1–2 years of experience in carpentry, construction, remodeling, handyman work, maintenance, or related trades
• Basic knowledge of:
