Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking a carpentry professional to join our team and contribute to safe, sound structures and finishing touches on park projects. You will help bring the thrills alive for guests while upholding a culture of safety, service, and fun.

The role requires carpentry experience, a strong work ethic, and a host-friendly demeanor. Candidates must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives.
• Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters.
• Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards.
• Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented.
• Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed.
• Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team.
• Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park.
