Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join the park’s carpentry team. You will frame, assemble, and finish capital and seasonal projects, repair structures, and ensure safety and quality on rides and facilities.

The role involves working at heights on wooden roller coasters, logging maintenance, and coordinating materials and Maximo tasks. A strong safety mindset and guest-friendly demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives.
• Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters.
• Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards.
• Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented.
• Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed.
• Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team.
• Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park.
