Six Flags New England is seeking a carpenter to support capital and seasonal projects, ensuring structures are sound and finished to thrill guests. You will repair, inspect, and maintain park facilities, including rides at heights over 100 feet, while keeping logs up to date and safety at the forefront.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and guest-focused service, with a pay start at $22.50 per hour and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Carpentry experience and ability to work safely on active projects.

Responsabilidades

• Frame, assemble, and finish capital and seasonal projects.
• Repair buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing and related items.
• Work from heights of 100+ feet on wooden coasters.
• Inspect rides and structures for safety hazards and fix issues.
• Ensure compliance with ride specs, corporate policies, and MA rules.
• Maintain accurate daily repair logs and maintenance records.
• Keep rides clean and visually compliant with specs and guest expectations.
• Assist with daily park operations and material logistics (Maximo tasks).
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet park needs.

Responsibilities

• Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives
• Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters
• Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards
• Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented
• Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed
• Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team
• Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park

Qualifications

• Experience as a Carpenter
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Sense of fun
• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
• Willingness to work in a high performance team environment
• 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, etc.
