Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Foreman for a permanent, non-union on-site role in Milwaukee, WI. You will oversee carpentry and retail construction activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule with top-quality results.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in foreman/carpenter roles, strong leadership, knowledge of codes and safety, and excellent communication with teams and clients. Travel is required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of foreman/carpenter or leadership experience in construction.
• Skilled carpenter with knowledge of construction methods, tools and equipment.
• Retail construction experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Understanding of building codes, safety regulations and quality control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with team, clients and suppliers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry certification a plus.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing and able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities on-site and ensure work is completed on time and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to manage workflow and safety.
• Lead, mentor and motivate team members to achieve project goals.

• 3. Experience in retail construction projects is a plus.

• 5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively under pressure.
• 6. Good understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
• 8. High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in a skilled trade (carpentry) or relevant field is a plus.
• 9. Physical stamina and dexterity; the ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
• 10. Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 11. Must being willing and able to travel!
