Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Carpenter for the Facilities Department. You will perform carpentry tasks to maintain, repair, and improve hospital spaces, ensuring work complies with safety and healthcare regulations.

Hours are typically Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible on-call. This is a safety sensitive role emphasizing quality, safety, and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience.
• Preferred 3-5 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.

What You Should Know About theCarpenter:

Job Summary:

The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of skills carpentry tasks to maintain, repair,

and improve hospital facilities. This role ensures that all carpentry work complies with safety,

hygiene, and regulatory standards specific to a healthcare environment.

Carpenter Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• This is a safety sensitive position. *
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
• Strong knowledge of building materials, techniques, and safety practices
• Ability to read blue prints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience
• Preferred requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a commercial or healthcare settings
  • Understand of healthcare regulations and standards, such as OSHA, Joint Commission, and other relevant bodies
