Ritsema Associates in Michigan is seeking a dependable carpenter to join our construction team. This role performs hands-on carpentry tasks across renovation and building projects, while upholding safety, quality, and professionalism.

Daily travel between job sites is required. You will work with a foreman and crew to install drywall, ceilings, framing, and insulation, reading basic drawings, using standard hand tools, and ensuring timely, high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and construction tasks, including: drywall hanging and finishing.
• Acoustical ceiling grid installation.
• Exterior insulation.
• Framing and general construction work.
• Use and maintain basic carpentry tools.
• Read tape measures and basic construction drawings.
• Arrive on time and ready to work each day.
• Communicate effectively with the project field leader and team members.
• Represent the company professionally and courteously on all jobsites.
• Work independently or collaboratively depending on project needs.
• Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support project success.
