EXOVATIONS of Atlanta, LLC (EXO) is hiring an entry-level Carpenter in Cumming, Georgia. The role focuses on installing decks, porches, windows and doors as part of a collaborative team.

You will learn to read blueprints, operate power and pneumatic tools, and maintain safe, organized worksites. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday with pay between $18 and $22 per hour and benefits including 401k with company match.

POSITION SCOPE

The EXOVATIONS of Atlanta, LLC (EXO)’s Carpenter position plays a vital role in the installation of decks, porches, windows, and doors. Carpenters are valued members of a team to provide the best customer experience possible. Carpenters are provided opportunities to learn and grow within a four-tiered process, and are expected to be team players and self-motivated.

CARPENTER I (C1) - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ABILITIES

• Becomes familiar with all power/pneumatic tools used by EXO
• Keeps the jobsite clean and material organized daily
• Keeps truck and tools organized daily
• Gains proficiency in installation of all EXO products
• Offers to help others as needed
• Learns to read blueprints and understands code
• May travel by car/truck or other modes of transportation to perform essential duties of position
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead Carpenter (LC), other management personnel or more senior level Carpenters

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• All physical requirements are performed for the duration of an 8–10-hour shift.
• Wears personnel protective equipment as required; safety glasses, dust mask, gloves, safety harness to be used above 4 ft and regular ladder and tool checks
• Physical and mental ability to operate company vehicles and associated equipment
• Demonstrated ability to perform rigorous outdoor duties including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, sitting, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity
• Ability to climb ladders for extended periods of time
• Ability to carry heavy objects
• Ability to lift 100 pounds regularly
• Good fine motor skills, coordination, range of motion and grip strength
• Ability to work in all climate conditions
• Ability to be exposed to loud noise levels
• Ability to use power tools and pneumatic tools, as well as hand tools: skill saws, miter saws, nail guns, Sawzall, general carpentry tools.
• Ability to work in an environment containing dirt, grease, and dust
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to effectively interact with others internally and externally
• Ability to work with many different personalities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Correctable vision and hearing

Full-Time: Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour
