Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Carpenter to construct, fabricate, erect and repair structures for building enclosures. The role includes rough and finish carpentry, concrete formwork, door frame setting, and adherence to an Incident and Injury Free safety culture.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an apprenticeship or equivalent training, and the ability to travel to project sites up to 70+ miles.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training is required.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and move materials up to 100 pounds on a routine basis.
• Willingness to travel to project sites up to 70+ miles away.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand basic blueprints and construction documents.

Aufgaben

• Read building plans and sketches to determine material needs and dimensions.
• Determine layout and placement of materials using levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying tools.
• Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other building materials.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
• Place and finish concrete where applicable.
• Ensure safety within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
