Job summary

Catalyst Exhibits in Kenosha, WI is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team that specializes in fabricating custom trade show booths and displays. You will read blueprints and CAD plans, cut and assemble wood and materials, and finish booths to exact design specifications under tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates have proven carpentry experience in exhibit construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience in trade show/exhibit or retail display.
• Strong knowledge of MDF, plywood, laminates, and acrylics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop plans.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and CAD plans to construct trade show booths.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand/power tools.
• Construct cabinetry, display cases, kiosks, and structural components per design.
• Install hardware, lighting, and booth elements as required.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and trades to meet goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with booth setup and breakdown in the shop.
