Job summary

Exhibit Associates in North Kansas City, MO seeks a skilled fabricator to design, build, and install custom trade show exhibits, museum displays, and branded environments. You’ll join our fabrication team and help deliver high-quality projects for major brands across the country.

Key work includes reading drawings, cutting, assembling, finishing components, and occasional on-site installation. A strong sense of craftsmanship and problem-solving ability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings and shop plans.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Experience safely operating common woodworking and shop equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel for installations.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings, fabrication plans, and measurements.
• Cut, assemble, laminate, and finish custom components.
• Operate woodworking and fabrication equipment safely.
• Build projects to high standards for fit, finish, and durability.
• Work with designers, project managers, and other fabricators.
• Prepare projects for shipping and installation.
• Load and occasionally install projects on-site.
• Troubleshoot problems during fabrication and keep the shop organized.
