The Tailored Closet & PremierGarage of Greater Washington DC is hiring carpenters to join a professional team in Chantilly, VA. You will install closet, garage, and office organization products with a crew lead, ensuring timely, accurate work.

Senior carpenters bring 5–10+ years in finish and trim carpentry, while juniors bring 2–3+ years of installation experience. You must pass background checks and have a valid license to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Senior carpenter: 5–10+ years finish and trim carpentry.
• Junior carpenter: 2–3+ years installation experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must arrive on-time M-F at 6:45 am in Chantilly, VA.
• Speak, read and write English fluently.
• Able to lift over 50 pounds and work in tight/unconditioned spaces.
• Willingness to pass background check and e‑verification.

• Maintain workspace and vehicle in a neat and orderly fashion
• Show up ready-to-work, with tools on time in Chantilly, Virginia
• Comply with and follow all safety regulations and policies

Job Summary

As a Junior through Senior Skilled (Carpenter) for The Tailored Closet & PremierGarage of Greater Washington DC, you will be working with a crew lead responsible for the timely and mistake-free installation of a closet, garage, and office organization products

• The ideal Senior Skilled Carpenter has 5-10+ years of finish and trim carpentry experience in a related industry, a clear driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
• The ideal Junior Carpenter has at least 2-3+ years of work/installation experience, preferably in a related industry, a clear driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.

• Reliable transportation to arrive on-time M-F at our location in Chantilly, VA at 6:45 am
• Speak, read and write English fluently
• General construction know-how and ability to work with plans and spatial considerations
• Able to lift over 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs, work in tight and sometimes unconditioned spaces
• Willingness for background check and e-verification of legal status to work in the US.

Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
