Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Must comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with team.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on surface to prepare for work.
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units for bridges, walls and other structures.
• Assists with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs if needed.
• Uses carpentry hand tools, power tools and related machinery.
