Role Description

The Carpenter role at Cajun Industries, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Houston area. The carpenter will perform a variety of construction tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials for framing, structures, and finishes. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, using hand and power tools safely, installing doors, windows, trim, and other finish carpentry elements, and ensuring work meets company quality and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with supervisors and crew members, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following all site safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong carpentry skills with experience in structural work, layout, and basic construction techniques.
• Proficiency in framing and finish carpentry, including walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and trim installation.
• Safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Commitment to safety practices, including adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Reliable work ethic, ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, and capability to lift and carry materials as required.
• Previous industrial or commercial construction experience preferred.
