Job summary

Albemarle Housing Improvement Program (AHIP) is seeking a dependable remodeling carpenter to join our team in Virginia. This full-time position requires 3+ years of remodeling experience and the ability to work both independently and as part of a crew under the Construction Supervisor.

A valid Virginia driver's license, physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with a variety of weather conditions are required.

Organization Albemarle Housing Improvement Program (AHIP)

AHIP is looking for a dependable, experienced remodeling carpenter to work full time for our company. This is NOT a helper position; candidates should have construction experience for residential remodeling and renovation jobs in all areas of interior and exterior work. Candidates will work individually and as part of a crew and be responsible for the efficient implementation of construction tasks assigned by the Construction Supervisor. General knowledge of all phases of renovation and remodeling, including roofing repair, is required. Light plumbing and electrical experience are a plus. Candidates must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license. This position is 40 hours per week, no weekends required.
