Homestead Maintenance & Remodeling Inc. is seeking three Field Carpenters for a full-time residential remodeling role. The position covers framing, drywall, cabinetry, trim work, painting, and minor roofing across multiple job sites in Forest Hill, MD.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of hands-on remodeling experience, strong multi-trade skills, dependable transportation, and a valid driver's license. Company vehicle provided; competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling or carpentry.
• Proficient across multiple trades including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and painting.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure materials needed for each job.
• Cut, shape, and prepare lumber and other materials to precise specifications.
• Build and install doors, frames, staircases, cabinetry, walls, and flooring.
• Perform framing, drywall hanging and finishing, interior/exterior painting, and siding.
• Install hardwood flooring, trim, insulation, and minor roof repairs as needed.
• Conduct repair and maintenance work as assigned.
• Adhere to safety standards on every job site.
• Collaborate with project managers and fellow team members to ensure deadlines and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Skilled in the use of, and supply your own hand tools.
• Skilled in the use of power tools.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on varied tasks.
• Valid driver's license required.
