Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Carpenter Journeyman to join the Loenbro South team on a heavy industrial construction site in Afton, TX. You will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract, meeting deadlines and budgets.

The role requires 2 years of form setting, rod-busting, and concrete finishing experience, strong blueprint-reading ability, and a commitment to safety and EH&S policies. You will collaborate with a skilled team across trades and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod-busting and concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.

Job Summary

Job Summary
This position is working on a heavy industrial construction worksite. The Carpenter Journeyman will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod-busting and concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• 2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting
• Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Preferred:

• Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.
• Must be able to complete and complete the paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc. and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors.
• Must be willing to embrace the company’s core values.

Work Environment

• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
• Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.

• Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
