Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Carpenter Journeyman to work on a heavy industrial construction site near Andrews, TX. The successful candidate will collaborate with the job supervisor and a team of professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work, reading blueprints, and following safety protocols on site. This role requires 2+ years in form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing and the ability to

Qualifications

  • 2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Job Summary

This position is working on a heavy industrial construction worksite. The Carpenter Journeyman will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod-busting and concrete finishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions.
  • Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Preferred
  • Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.
  • Must be able to complete and complete the paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc. and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors.

  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
