Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Northeast Florida is seeking a Carpenter to construct, install, repair, and maintain structures across the property. The candidate should have experience in residential and light commercial construction, carpentry, maintenance, and repair work with a safety-conscious, detail-oriented approach.

The role involves reading blueprints, installing cabinetry and fixtures, performing repairs, painting, and handling minor plumbing/electrical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Construct, install, repair, and maintain cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, trim, decks, walkways, and other structures.
• Remove and replace damaged or defective building materials and structural components.
• Inspect ceilings, flooring, walls, siding, glass, and woodwork to identify repair needs.
• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofing systems using wood, steel, concrete, plastics, composites, and other materials.
• Install, finish, and repair drywall/sheetrock.
• Perform roof repairs and shingle installation.
• Complete interior and exterior painting and staining projects.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs as assigned.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as assigned.
• Install and repair fencing.
• Create, install, and repair property

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Summary

Carpenter

The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of structures and fixtures throughout the property. This position requires experience in residential and light commercial construction, carpentry, maintenance, and repair work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
