Job summary

Brycon Corporation, based in Texas, seeks a skilled carpenter to read blueprints, assemble forms, rails, stairs, and build architectural components. You will frame, erect, install, and repair structures, using hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include 2–3 years of carpentry experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background/drug test. OSHA 10 preferred; valid driver’s record preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving use of hand tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and sketches.
  • Complete tasks such as concrete forms, braces, handrails, stairs.
  • Construct, erect, install, and repair architectural building components.
  • Operate hand and power tools and shop machinery safely.
  • Receive materials and offload safely; assist superintendent as needed.
  • Prepare surfaces for paint and other finishes; coordinate with teams.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts as required.
  • Work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed per guidelines.

Job description

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools

  • Perform skilled carpentry work such as repairing and constructing all aspects of architectural building

  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools and shop machinery in conjunction with proper
  • Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient
  • Assist the superintendent in performing duties
  • Prepare surfaces for paint and other
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts in conjunction with proper
  • Other job duties as assigned
  • Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
