The Carpenter (WG-4607-09) serves as a fully qualified journey-level worker responsible for independently constructing, repairing, and maintaining building structural components and facilities. Operating under general supervision, the incumbent plans and executes assignments from blueprints, applying a broad range of skilled trades techniques including carpentry, sheetrocking, painting, plastering, and basic masonry.

Ability to do the work of a(n) CARPENTER ~ without more than normal supervision. Independent layout, fabrication, and structural repair.
