Aerotek is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Sioux Falls team. This contract-to-hire role involves constructing, installing, and repairing wood structures and fixtures.

You will read blueprints, measure, cut, and assemble components, and frame walls, floors, and roofs. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of carpentry or framing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid grasp of safety practices.

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team! You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood.
• Install structures and fixtures like windows, doors, and cabinets.
• Frame walls, floors, and roofs,
• Perform trim carpentry tasks.

Hours

• 7am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)

Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in carpentry or framing, particularly in residential construct
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and general construction practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
