Job summary

Ski's Truck & RV Sales is seeking a motivated Carpenter to join our service team and perform light carpentry repairs for campers. The role requires organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with duties including cabinet work, blinds adjustment, and flooring tasks.

You will document repairs for warranty claims, collaborate with teammates, and maintain a clean workspace. This position offers competitive pay, commission, and benefits with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous carpentry or maintenance experience preferred in RV, auto body, marine, or similar fields.
• Knowledge of RV systems a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Superior math skills.
• May require heavy lifting and use of ladders/equipment.
• Valid driver's license and good attendance record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light repairs and maintenance on campers including carpentry, cabinet work, blinds, flooring, and trim.
• Troubleshoot issues and report major repairs promptly.
• Fill nail heads and gaps as needed.
• Document/photograph repairs for warranty claims and complete warranty forms.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with tool upkeep.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.

Ski's Truck & RV Sales is looking for a motivated Carpenter to join our service team and perform light carpentry repairs and maintenance.

You must be well-organized with strong problem-solving and repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hardware and electrical tools to perform light repairs and maintenance on campers, including, but not limited to: carpentry and cabinet work, adjustment of blinds or other furniture items, and flooring/trim work.
• Use troubleshooting skills to identify any issues and determine the appropriate solutions. Report major repairs immediately.
• Fill nail heads, crevices and gaps as necessary.
• Document/photograph all repairs for warranty claims; accurately complete warranty forms.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist with cleaning shop and maintaining tools as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Essential Job Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous carpentry or maintenance experience in the RV, auto body or marine industries, or a similar field is preferred.
• Knowledge of RV systems and components is a plus.
