Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is hiring a Carpenter to construct rough wooden forms and supports per blueprints. The role requires working at elevated heights, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing outdoor tasks in all weather conditions. Candidates must provide their own basic tools and comply with safety protocols.

Three years of commercial construction carpenter experience is preferred, with familiarity in vertical/horizontal concrete forms and gang forms desired. EOE/Vets/Disabilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures such as vertical/horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, and scaffolds per sketches or blueprints.
• Adhere to safety protocol and maintain a drug-free environment.
• Provide own tools including hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers and tool pouch.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions if required.

Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Qualifications
