Pay Rate: $21/hr

Location: Odenton, MD

Carpenter responsibilities include: .

• Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on work orders or instructions from supervisors.
• Cuts and shapes structures, to produce box stairs
• Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects
• Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
• Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules

Carpenter requirements include:

• At least 1 year carpentry experience is required
• Ability to understand directions and read blueprints
• Must have stair building experience
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadline
• Good oral and written communications skills; good math skills
• Must be willing to submit to submit to a background check and/or drug screen
