Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter for commercial construction projects. The role involves building rough wooden structures and concrete formwork according to sketches or blueprints, with attention to safety and quality.

Candidates should have related experience, be able to work at elevated heights, and lift up to 50 lbs. A basic set of carpentry tools is required; outdoor work in all weather may be involved.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
