Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter for field work in Georgia. The role focuses on constructing rough wooden structures and concrete forms per drawings, with emphasis on safety and readiness to work outdoors in varying weather.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of carpentry experience in commercial construction, with formwork knowledge and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights. Candidates must supply basic tools and be prepared for outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms and gang forms preferred.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
