Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is currently seeking a Carpenter to join our field team in Texas. The ideal candidate brings 3 years of commercial construction carpentry experience and is comfortable working with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, and related structures.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at height, and operate in all weather conditions. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to supply personal tools such as a hammer, speed square, tape

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
