Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. in the Greater Hartford Area is seeking skilled carpenters to join a dynamic team. You will construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures, read blueprints, and perform framing, trim, and finish work to high standards.

Candidates should hold OSHA 10 certification, have prior commercial construction experience, and be able to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed. Strong references are required to verify work history and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard.
• Rough Carpenters: installing framing, forms, blocking, backing, decking, doors, windows and siding.
• Trim/Finish Carpenters: installing baseboard/staircase/trim, crown molding, architectural finish packages.
• Framing Carpenters: installing metal and wood framing, reading blueprints, using hand and power tools.
• Duties may include framing, finish work, installing doors, reading blueprints.

• Trim/Finish Carpenters:
  • Installing baseboard/staircase/standard trim/custom trim, crown molding, architectural finish packages, and quarter round trim
• Framing Carpenters:
  • Installing metal and wood framing and roof truss components, reading and understanding blue prints and schematics, using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install frame work components.
• Duties may include but not limited to framing, finish work, installing doors, reading blueprints.
