Qualifications

• 2+ years residential carpentry experience preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physically capable of lifting 90 lbs and comfortable in various work environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Frame, trim, and hang doors as per architectural drawings.
• Read blueprints accurately and translate to finished projects.
• Coordinate with other trades for a clean hand-off.
• Maintain a safe worksite according to OSHA standards.
• Communicate project progress effectively.
• Maintain tools and treat company property with care.

Responsibilities

• Frame, trim, hang doors, install cabinets, and build custom millwork to architectural drawings.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings accurately. Translate the page into a finished room.
• Coordinate alongside electrical, plumbing, and HVAC so trades hand off cleanly.
• Maintain a safe site (PPE, OSHA standards, hazard reporting). Zero incidents is the standard.
• Communicate progress to the Foreman and PM. We operate on facts, not surprises.
• Maintain your tools. Treat company materials and vehicles like they’re your own.

Qualifications

• 2+ years residential carpentry experience preferred (framing through trim).
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Your numbers are exact.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physically capable: lift 90 lbs, comfortable on ladders, roofs, and in crawl spaces.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 preferred or obtainable within 90 days (paid by HEI).
• Local to Northeast Indiana.
• High school diploma or GED.
