We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry tasks and demonstrate proficiency in using power tools and equipment. This role involves working on construction sites, fabricating structures, and performing installations to ensure high-quality workmanship. The Carpenter will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining structures while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Fabricate and assemble components such as doors, frames, and cabinetry.
• Perform door hanging and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
• Install flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, and tile.
• Work with drywall installation and finishing techniques.
• Execute frame carpentry tasks for residential or commercial projects.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Experience with electrical work is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
