Job summary

Trillium Construction in Dayton, Ohio is seeking experienced commercial/industrial carpenters for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established commercial general contractor in the Dayton area.

Pay is $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am -3:30pm, with some Saturday work available. Local candidates preferred and a path to permanent employment is offered with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial construction carpenter experience.
• Strong metal stud framing and drywall experience.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and construction plans.
• Ability to perform layout, measurements and basic calculations.
• Acoustical/drop ceiling experience is a plus.

Job description

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Commercial/Industrial Carpenters for an immediate contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established commercial general contractor in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Qualified candidates should have strong experience with metal stud framing and commercial drywall, with acoustical/drop ceiling experience being a plus. Candidates must be able to read and work from blueprints, construction drawings and specifications, perform accurate measurements and layout, and work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Pay: $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment. Upon permanent hire, the company offers a full benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), vacation and paid holidays.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am -3:30pm, some Saturday work is available

Most work is located within approximately 50–60 miles of Dayton, with occasional projects in the Columbus area. Local candidates are strongly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial carpenter looking for steady work with a company that offers a long-term path to permanent employment.

• Must have reliable transportation
